Fireworks Spectacular of Canada was the 11th and final competitor for the 4th Philippines Pyromusical Competition. Being the champion during the 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical competition, all eyes were on them for the next 18 minutes. Despite coming up short this year (1st runner up), they have shown why the deserve the top spots in the competition
One thing I learned from watching the Pyromusical is that the fireworks should intertwine with the music to create a connection and mix of emotions. Based from the crowd reactions, Fireworks Spectaculars definitely made one of the best connections , with the oohs and aahhs for the entire show, leaving viewers amazed, captivated and entertained to say the least!
Starting off slow and building up to the climax, amassing an awesome wide water level fireworks, continuous barrage of beauty on the mid level, and colorful high level explosions! It was just a beautiful sight to sum it up!
The highlight for me was "What a wonderful world" (starting at 9 minutes and 38 seconds). I have seen this performed various times (another beautiful rendition was Japan from Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks during the 2nd PIPC) taking advantage of the lyrics with the colored fireworks display. The best thing about Canada display was that you just can't compare it with other renditions. They created a unique display to make it on their own.
Finishing as Champion a year ago, and 1st runner up this year, Fireworks Spectaculars shown they are one of the experts in the field of Pyromusical and we hope to see them back next year challenging for top spot!
