The Mind Museum opened its doors on March 16, 2012 to the general public. Visitors has a maximum of three hours to explore the 5 galleries, namely the stories of the Universe, Earth, Life, Atom and Technology. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by Aedi, a robot built to introduce what to expect inside the museum. The volume is a bit faint (yet audible) when Aedi greets.
Then, Kuya Pecier introduces and answer some basic questions about the museum. Kuya Pecier is part of the mind movers team who basically answers queries and introduces you to different experiments and gadgets inside the museum
What do I expect inside?
Mostly are interactive experiments and explanation to understand the 5 various galleries. Expect a lot of "ah..ganun pala un!" ("so thats how it is") moments which is really interesting
Kuya Pecier (looking devious) discusses the chocolate, its atoms composition and how it relates to the other atoms like an insect...like the big fly on the upper right of the chocolate itself!
The static ball shows how static energy is created and how it affects people. Riza is enjoying the hair raising activity!
The Shadow box was definitely a fun experiment. You are given 15 seconds to pose and once the light bulb flashes, the walls absorb the light leaving the area you "blocked" becomes shadow silhouette

Your children will start appreciating rice and will most probably stop playing with it as soon as they understand the concept. (Thank you Mind movers!)
Some Reminders/FAQ's
- There are 2 types of tickets.
- The mind museum ticket visit. This give you access to the museum for 3 hours, at different intervals, 9AM, 12Noon, 3PM and 6PM
- The mind museum all day pass. This give you access to the museum for unlimited hours.
- Team STKS suggests that you purchase the ticket visit. All 5 galleries can be visited within 2 hours.
- Okay, this is a guided tour right?
- Well, to clarify it, when mind museum says guided tour, it is not your understanding of guided tour wherein there is one guide that will tour you to the whole facility. Guided tour means that there are mind movers scattered in the area to answer your question and you can freely take your time and phase in between the 5 galleries.
- Cameras are very much allowed
- Foods and drinks are not allowed inside the museum
